My name is May. I'm from Taiwan and now work as a freelance designer in Lithuania. I recently began experimenting with AI and realized it could finally allow me to make a film. I wanted my first project to be personal, which led me to a cassette tape my husband recorded at ten years old, speaking about life in the Lithuanian countryside. What starts as simple observations slowly becomes introspective, and the raw honesty of his voice became the foundation of this film. After moving to Lithuania almost two years ago, I discovered the country through both his childhood stories and my own daily life. Recreating these memories connected those two worlds and allowed me to see Lithuania not only as my home, but as the beginning of his imagination.
